Questions & Answers

Question: How do you know if you're a failure or a loser?

Answer: Nobody can win all the time. Declining or losing at specific activities happens to united states of america all. However, generally, it's how you adapt to failures that determines whether YOU are a failure or loser.

The more than of the post-obit qualities y'all have, the more likely yous are to be a LOSER or FAILURE:

i) You shirk personal accountability: blaming the victim, passing the buck, pointing the finger, denying problems exists.

2) You exhibit picayune sense of integrity, lying, adulterous, and stealing to advance your agenda.

3) Stinkin' thinkin' dominates your mindset, as you consistently assume the worst about your fellow man, their motives, and traits.

4) You demonstrate a lack of perseverance or work ethic, giving up on yourself and others too easily. Yous're afraid of a existent challenge, intellectual or physical. Half-hearted and incomplete jobs, procrastination, and letting others practice your work are common with you.

five) At that place's no marvel. Lacking the energy and enthusiasm to try different approaches and explore different ideas, y'all speedily opt for a more narrow, uncreative approach considering that's the easy manner out.

six) Because you don't acquire from experience, you lot keep repeating the same problems over and again. You refuse feedback and fail to develop because you fear the truth.

I hope you're not a loser, merely even if yous are, you tin change your failing behaviors and patterns of thinking.

Jack, If you lot "always" experience this fashion, then you lot may take depression. Talk with your family doc about your symptoms. Depression is a very common and treatable disease often rooted in a biochemical imbalance. Your physician may also refer y'all to a qualified mental health counselor such a psychologist who tin can aid you with your behavioral choices and thinking patterns. Don't wait, buddy.

Jack on June 22, 2020:

I ever feel down and depressed. How tin can I deal with it?

Peggy - People shouldn't exist afraid to neglect merely rather run across information technology as something to learn from. Thank you for stopping past!

Peggy Woods from Houston, Texas on April 19, 2020:

It is not normal to e'er be on the winning side of life, but nosotros can learn much from failure and build upon information technology. Many smashing inventions have come along after numerous tries that initially failed.

FlourishAnyway (author) from Us on February 13, 2020:

LaustCawz - I've e'er liked Garbage and found their name amusing.

LaustCawz on February 11, 2020:

Start, a couple of song quotations:

"Success walks hand in mitt with failure along Hollywood Boulevard."

--"Celluloid Heroes" (The Kinks)

"Ask a winner & you'll probably find, ooo Jackie, they've lost at some fourth dimension."

--"Jackie Blue" (The Ozark Mountain Daredevils)

As for loser criteria, If you continue repeating "problems" with no success, you may only be ahead of your time, or, in such a subjective world, you may accept simply not found the person or persons who are in a position to discover/appreciate what you're doing & may have the means (financial or otherwise) to expose you lot to a wider cross-department of the public.

As for "Stinkin' Thinkin'", the reverse can have equally devastating results, where full naivete pre-empts salubrious skepticism. Unfortunately, I was like this early in life &, even more unfortunately, my mother did whatsoever she could to encourage this mental attitude.

This has helped me appreciate bands/artists with self-deprecating names, though. 1 mentioned on the listing is Garbage, who, imo, have given united states the best always album name (their "Best-Of" collection, "Absolute Garbage"). Others that come to mind: Nobody & The Nothings, The Revolting Cocks &, of course, The Killers.

The Race Is On

Grateful Dead

I feel tears welling up from down deep inside,

Like my middle's got a big break

And a stab of loneliness precipitous and painful that I may never shake.

You might remember that I'm taking information technology hard since you bankrupt me off with a phone call,

Yous might wager that I'll hide in sorrow and I might lay right downwards and bawl.

Now the race is on and here comes pride upwards the back stretch,

Heartaches a goin' to the within, my tears are holding back, tryin' not to fall.

The race is on and it looks like heartaches, and the winner loses all.

kallini2010 from Toronto, Canada on May 24, 2017:

Hullo, Flourish:

I'one thousand non sure whether you lot put together a winning list most losers or a losing i... I'yard a strong believer in "when y'all lose, you proceeds, when y'all proceeds, you lose" concept because it makes me the biggest loser/gainer/winner/loser of them all.

I don't agree that life/health/employment/family and what not is a game.

Just if I want to exist somewhat convincing - loser-winner games usually produce ane winner out of so many (x? 100? 1,000?) losers who all desire to be a winner nonetheless hate that winner with passion.

I'd rather exist in some rearguard - once I wrote a poem "I Want to Be a Loser" which provoked a lot of comments (mostly from losers and the like), only I removed it. That I regret. Losing comments, not the poem itself.

"The Loser Takes It All" is a classic - information technology'southward incommunicable non to like it. I love "Dingy Laundry" as well.

Every bit usual, I tin can't come up with one single vocal almost losers now, just I accept but watched a documentary "The End of Men" - how mode also many of them have lost their jobs (in 2008) and lost the self-identity, management, the sense of masculinity...

and how much better they and all of us are for it.

When you lose, you... sing.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on May 24, 2017:
